Riverwood

$16.00

Play, 2f 3m

As gentrification closes in on the Riverwood Park Apartments, its tenants are forced to reckon with a home that no longer holds. Teenagers Tel and Crunch chase hip-hop stardom, Lenard puts his faith in luck, and community warrior Dédra risks everything to keep both her neighborhood and herself from being erased, while Miss Penny weighs the comfort of laying down roots against the price of pulling them up. With futures uncertain and dreams on the line, Riverwood asks who is allowed to belong and at what cost, in an urgent, poetic portrait of ambition, community, and the fight for home.
