About the Author

Becca Carter Freeman (she/her) is a writer, actor, and intimacy coordinator for the stage and screen. She is from Georgia, raised in Korea, and is currently based in New York City. Select writing awards include: The Kennedy Center, the National Playwrights Conference, and Fusion Film Festival. She has developed work at The Tank, The Chain, The Public Theatre, Southern Plains Theatre, Brooklyn Art Haus, The American Opera Project. Her films, which she has written, directed, and starred in, have screened at festivals and venues across the United States. Becca is a graduate of the Writers Guild of America East Support Staff Training Program, trained with Intimacy Directors and Coordinators, and a member of the Dramatists Guild of America. She holds a BFA in Theatre Arts from Boston University and an MFA in Dramatic Writing from New York University.
