<image:caption>Kenndall Wallace loves to write. She was an inaugural winner of the Farmers' Alley Theatre Lumen Playwriting Competition, a Broadcast Education Association winner for her feature-length screenplay, an LTA One-Act Playwriting Award winner, and has been honored with the Julie Jensen, Lorraine Hansberry, and Nathan Louis Jackson Playwriting awards between years 2024 and 2025. She's been a 2-time member of the Black Playwrights' Gathering in Washington, D.C., a Torch Literary Arts Fellow, a DQT Classics in Color fellow, and a top 30 playwright for the 50th Concord Off-Off Broadway Festival. As a playwright, Kenndall's focus has been on creating stories that challenge, uplift, and promote the Black diasporic community — and as a person, she enjoys reading, exploring new places, and accidentally getting lost in those places.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Bookstore - Girlfails</image:title>
<image:caption>About the Author Liv Shoup (she/her) is a playwright, screenwriter, and educator based in the one and only Philadelphia, PA. She grew up on the opposite side of Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh, where she was raised by her wickedly funny and incredibly loving parents who instilled in her the love of comedy that made her who she is today. Liv then relocated to Philadelphia in 2016 to pursue a degree in Screenwriting and Playwriting from Drexel University, where she later spent time as an adjunct and the General Manager of the Drexel Theatre Program. She had a great time teaching in higher education and really hopes someone lets her do it again soon (wink wink nudge nudge.) Comedy is Liv’s first love, and she uses it to reflect real life in very heightened situations that still make the audience go “wow, that’s just like me for real.” In the past, Liv has written about difficult subjects such as fatphobia, misogyny, and grief, but always balances it out with themes of unstoppable female friendship, love, and the occasional puppet! Liv’s other written work includes the plays Skinny Legend (Philadelphia Women’s Theatre Festival, 2023) and Trauma Queen (coming to Spokane Playwrights Lab in 2026!), as well as the pilot edition of Girlfails (Finalist: New Your Script Awards) and her pilot Me and My Great Great Great Grandad’s Gay Skeleton (Semi-finalist, Creative Screenwriting Unique Voices Competition). This play, Girlfails, is a celebration of the rich tapestry of friendships and platonic love she has experienced over the years. She hopes you enjoy reading it, and that it makes you want to tell your friends how much you love them!</image:caption>

<image:caption>About the Author Daniel (they/he) is a neurodivergent writer/actor/ginger currently based out of Southwest Ohio. They have a special fondness for absurdism, folklore, and horror, but ultimately love plays about honest people (or talking animals) in situations they haven’t seen before. When not gleefully giving his soul to artistic endeavors and projects, he legitimately enjoys long walks on the beach, video games with local co-op, and bread. Their full-length plays include Art Duty, Bereavement Leave, and Pit, a part of the ’24-25 season of the Inkwell Theater’s Development LAB. His cosmic horror, In the Slush, was a Finalist for the 2023 Princess Grace Award and received its World Premiere with Gather by the Ghost Light in July 2025. Their one-acts, For a Limited Time Only (The Bread Play) and You See Them in the Corners of Your Eyes, have been produced at theatres, colleges, and schools throughout the US. Daniel is an alumnus of the University of Virginia and a proud member of the Dramatists Guild.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Bookstore - Hayward</image:title>
<image:caption>About the Author Netta Walker is an actor, playwright, screenwriter, poet, producer and activist that began her career onstage in Chicago 10 years ago as the Rose of Sharon understudy at The Gift Theater for “The Grapes of Wrath.” Now she is known for starring as Keisha McCalla in "All American: Homecoming" and “All American” on The CW for 3 seasons. In 2019, she won a Jeff Award for “Best Supporting Performance in a Play” (Yen, Raven Theater) and was quickly named one of the Chicago Tribune’s "Hot New Faces" by lotted theater critic Chris Jones. After studying Musical Theater Voice at the Chicago College of Performing Arts, she dropped out and focused solely on acting in plays in the city. Her turn to writing led her to study playwriting at The LIR at Trinity College for a year while simultaneously taking acting classes at RADA. As a writer in the Pearl Cleage writers workshop with the Tony Award winning Goodman Theater and Remy Bumppo Theater Company, she began developing her poetry book Jade. Shortly after, Hayward was chosen as a Eugene O’Neill National Playwrights Conference 2025 Semifinalist. Her play keerah (about the overlap of African American and traditional Irish culture and literature) was selected as a winner in Definition Theater's 2024 AMPLIFY New Play Festival, where it is set to be workshopped for two years. keerah has also been performed in scratch nights in London with Irish speaking casts — by both Mirror Up Productions and Bespoke Plays. It was also selected by Edinburgh FFI for Scriptwriting. Her Filipino short film "Balik" won the Horror/Thriller short script category at Hollywood Just4Shorts Film and Screenplay competition, as well as being selected for London Film Festival International and Edinburgh FFI. This was swiftly followed by her short script "Baby Gay" being selected for the Chicago Script Awards and as a Cambridge Script Festival finalist (LGBTQ Screenplay). Both shorts were selected for the Best Script Awards screenplay competition in London in the same year. Walker was also chosen to pitch her original feminist dystopian series "House of Dixie" at the American Cinemtheque’s Proof of Concept Film Festival in LA in 2024 — it then went on to be selected as a Quarterfinalist for WeScreenplays’ Diverse Voices Lab Spring 2025. She is now adapting it for stage. Chicago onstage acting credits include: Lion in Winter (Court Theater), How to Defend Yourself (Victory Gardens, original cast); Yen (Raven Theatre, Jeff Award for Best Supporting Actor); Hamlet, Grapes of Wrath (The Gift); No Child (Definition Theatre); Continuity (Goodman); truth and reconciliation (Sideshow Theatre Company); Great Expectations (Silk Road Rising/Remy Bumppo); The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley (Northlight, original cast) and in workshops and reading series with companies like Steppenwolf Theater, Jackalope Theater, and Pride Films and Plays. Regional: Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley (Milwaukee Rep). Born and raised on the Florida/Georgia line in the Westside of Jacksonville, Florida, her unique background as a child of an immigrant and a Navy Chief influences every decision of storytelling she makes. The blended cultures of Cebuano Filipina and traditional Southern African-American heritage — fuels her passion for creating multicultural, multilayered and nuanced representation of the human condition in the arts. She's an avid Shakespeare and classical language lover and focuses on story telling through cultural mythology and folklore. Drawing from her distinct experiences as the youngest of four children (all older brothers) in a mixed-race family in the south, she weaves stories of family, culture, love and courage into all of her work — and as of late, particularly her writing. Walker is a passionate activist, leveraging her platform and writing to champion causes ranging from social justice to diversification to mental health in POC, and the pressing issue of climate change. The day after she won her Jeff Award in 2019 she used her platform of celebration to call out the physical, emotional, and sexual abuse at Roosevelt University — leading to hundreds of students sharing their personal stories of abuse and upending the institution as it was completely. She hopes to forever showcase that veracity in her art — all of which she attributes to the incredible strength and courage she witness in her parents, Antonio and Aurora Walker. Walker currently splits her time between her residence in Chicago, London and Los Angeles.</image:caption>

As a playwright, her work has been produced by Frigid Theatre, Fishwife Productions, and Trapezoid Theatre Co., at Under St. Marks, Vino Theatre, and The Chain. An enthusiastic advocate for independent theatre, Britt co-produced her play, The Beholden, at The Chain Theatre’s 99-seat space in October of 2023. Excerpts from her pieces Phryne and Glory have been selected to be presented in various new works festivals around NYC. As an actress, she was last seen onstage in her Off-Broadway debut as Janey in Egg Frame at the American Theatre of Actors. She is a proud resident of Stag & Lion Theatre Company, and during her tenure, she has played Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Kitty in Charley's Aunt, Belle in A Christmas Carol, and Narraboth in Salome. On screen, she recently starred in “Blue Diamond,” directed by Murat Vargelci, which was chosen as an Official Selection of the 2024 Big Apple Film Festival. She also recently wrote, directed, and starred in "French Philosophie," and starred in "Creampuff," both of which were presented at the 57th Street Collective's inceptive showing. She is a proud member of the Dramatists Guild. Britt’s work explores themes of divine femininity and subversive mythology. She has a passion for turning historic prejudices on their heads by crafting nuanced tales which present alternative points of view. She is most inspired by people (often women) who have been discarded or slandered by history–any biased criticism about a powerful woman perks her ears and ignites a drive to tell the other side of the story. She is honored to have the opportunity to uplift the women around her through her work.</image:caption>
